Technologies

THERMAL STRETCH ECO
Thermal Stretch ECO is a bi-elastic fabric made from recycled nylon and recycled elastane, used in ski touring, cross-country skiing and cycling. Thermal Stretch ECO delivers first-class values in terms of breathability, pilling and abrasion resistance. The napped inside provides the necessary insulation and good moisture transport.

4-Way Stretch
The material is transversely and longitudinally elastic and offers the highest possible freedom of movement.

Basic Insulation
Maloja distinguishes between three different insulation levels. Basic, Medium and High Insulation. The necessary insulation for the different temperatures, or weather conditions depends in each case on the area of use and intensity of the sport.

Semi Autolock Zipper
The zipper slide is equipped with a special locking system that avoids annoying jingling.

Women’s PEAK Pad
The Women’s PEAK Pad was developed for demanding female riders and offers maximum comfort on long distances. High density and 3-layer foam guarantee highest protection against impacts and perfect padding in the stressed areas. The perforation of the foam has been brought to a new level by the TRS2 technology: The holes are smaller, but more in number. This makes the surface smoother, with evenly distributed breathability. For the Soft-Tech material on the surface, Maloja uses an innovative polyester microfibre fabric, which provides unprecedented comfort. The combination of the new surface and breathable base material results in enormously high stretch properties. Due to the technological improvements, the entire pad is overall lighter, softer more comfortable than its predecessor and hardly noticeable.

Bistretch Shammy
The bi-stretch properties of the seat pad ensure increased comfort due to its extreme stretch.

Seamless Shammy
Maloja’s seat pads have exclusively bonded seams. Painful pressure points caused by conventional seams will therefore be a thing of the past in the future.

Foam Shammy
The seat pad is equipped with perforated foam. This improves ventilation and moisture transport.

Flatlock Seams
Overlock seams are durable and create a smooth, frictionless seam for optimum comfort.
