The ergonomic design is based on 3D scans of actual athletes. It rocks the latest in MKX armor innovation. You’ll feel its awesome flex and breathability, but not the bumps. The joint protector complies with EN1621-1.

Knee and elbow protectors must be comfortable, otherwise you like to leave them at home. This is where the MKX protectors by Amplifi come into play – they are lightweight and, in my opinion, also comfortable. So, they are perfect for a quick and easy ride on your home trails or a longer tour with just a little trail portion. Often on “easy” rides one crashes, according to experience, and then the joints better be protected. The protectors are similar in design to knee bandages that you know from the medical supply store but additionally they have a protective Armourgel pad. The knee and elbow protectors are very light at 250 grams each but still meet the EN1621-1:2012, Level 1 safety standard. They fit snugly, do not slip, dry quickly and do not annoy when pedaling. According to the size chart, I need a size L for the calf and a size M for the thigh. In the end, I choose size L and the protectors fit very well. When one is between two sizes should opt for the larger one.
